MV Sun Rise

MV Sun at sunrise – a shot I never thought would happen. My local weekend haunt, the King Tide café has coffee that is spot on and the local ambience is even better. However, this wasn’t a weekend, rather a weekday diversion when the cloud forecast had looked most worthwhile well before the Events of 2020.

I had grabbed a couple of shots when the MV Sun was coming in to moor. This for for the 6:40 am service to Dangar Island. I then wandered into the shelter by the wharf as it sat at mooring. A super wide angle was needed and I was perched very much on the edge. I was still able to get the Brooklyn Ferry and Hawkesbury Marina into the one single shot. MV Sun at sunrise – excuse the pun!

It doesn’t get much more Brooklyn waterfront than this!
