Sometimes everything in life comes together as if helped by a little extra force. This image of one of those moments. To get to the spot requires local knowledge, and a friend had told me of it over a few beers. I had done a recce shoot, and found a good angle, then one night after work, it looked as if the sunset might be good. I drove out, and made my way to the edge of the rocks. The sunset that followed was unbelievable. A riot of colour all across the sky. I took many frames, both as the sun set in the perfect angle, and afterwards as the colours develop and faded again.
