Description
I had a lovely day out today with Wife and Hound, and had spent the afternoon by the sea at Terrigal. On the way home, I thought the sunset looked quite promising, nice high cloud layers, and shapes. The keen reader will know by now, however that Father Time always seems to get in the way. Today was no exception, We arrived back in Berowra just in time for me to grab my tripod and bag, and quickly drive to the escarpment at Cliffview. As I walked along the sandy track it seemed as tho all the promise and colour had been removed from the sky, it was like walking in a grey void. Once I arrived at the escarpment – with the sun well gone – it seemed as though it would be another fizzer. Once again tho!!! the keen reader knows that sunsets and afterglows can come any time…
And so it was, brief bright colour, hanging close the horizon, but it was so good to get out and shoot after so many non-events recently. Once again the final image looks like a painting.
