Ah, me and my camera, stacks of high clouds and Berowra Waters go together like, well, you know.
This was a jetty I had in mind that I had not previously shot sunset from, though I had checked it out for Astro. As is often the case, when you are out actually doing Landscape Photography, the cloud patterns change minute by minute. Tonight the majority of the initial colour was South of where the sun actually set.

However, those Australian landscape photographers that know, they wait and wait after sunset, for something ‘different’. Eventually, as it was nearly dark, the magenta tones built to a crescendo, and gave a nice even glow to the Berowra Waters Inn pontoon. Such an amazing depth of colour, helped by the overall darkness.
