Description
Waratah Bay Glistening, Mt Kuring-Gai, NSW
Ah, weekends on the Upper North Shore of Sydney. What better way to get out and about, and to enjoy the great outdoors than to do one of the wonderful bushwalks nearby.
This walk goes from Mt Kuring-Gai station, down, down, walk along the water’s edge for a couple of dreamy hours, and then, dear reader, you can guess what happens next? Up, up, up, or more accurately given my current fitness levels, cough, cough splutter, breathe deep deep, deep!
I haven’t taken as many images recently as I would have liked, so I made sure I packed the camera, and picked just one lens as I knew the walk wouldn’t be a picnic to carry too much weight. I went for the 16mm zoom, as I guessed I would be doing a panorama, and that lens gets so much more in to the frame, that you can then crop away in PhotoShop afterward.
This was 10 frames stitched, handheld, huge overlap. I just loved the highlights, so I left them in, and enjoy the Glistening.
