A Chefs Secrets – The Daily Grind
Some people’s daily grind is well, nothing short of fantastic, isn’t it? Let’s consider, the ‘grind’ of the ferrymen, who quite clearly love what they do. As the ferry ‘grinds’ onto the ramps at each end, they unload commuters, and joy riders across a blue water wonderland.
Then there’s the ‘grind’ of the coffee, freshly made and being drunk by me as I took this shot from the deck of the local waterside cafe. I think there is grind everywhere in people’s minds, but maybe less so in reality, if you stop and think a while.
Technically, this was quite difficult. It’s a hand held stitch, and I had to get the Berowra Waters Ferry ‘just right’ in a single image, (it took nearly the whole frame) and then stitch the subsequent frames together without including any of the moving ferry in them. Standing on the deck at A Chefs Secrets, I took six or seven handheld panning attempts and this one worked.
Don’t you just love Berowra Waters?
