Morning Mist Arisen, Berowra Valley National Park
The keen followers on social media will recall that I was asking just where the valley mists had been this autumn. Of course there are many days where I do need an early office start, and some days where I rest (lets call them weekends). However, one Friday morning everything lined up. In the interests of time I went to my ‘local’ Berowra ledge and set up. I had originally planned to shoot the Super-Moon setting.
I saw an ever-changing vista over 15-20 minutes. No great sunrise, no bold colours. However, a soft palette of white mist in the valleys, pastel coloured clouds, and natures Hard Rock made for this wonderful scene. What you can’t see, sadly, is that at this moment the morning mist was surging up the valley toward me. Quite something!
This really was Berowra Valley National Park at its autumnal best.
