Empire Marina Dawn, Bobbin Head

This is my last image from 2018, taken at sunrise on December 31st. I drove down to the marina, and enjoyed the silence and the cool of the early morning. A whole lot of high clouds greeted me as the light levels rose, and the birds started flying in celebration of a new day. A great way to sign off a year. I loved the reflections, and the twin triangles, as well. The sun rose exactly where I have planned it would in the frame (thanks Photopills!)

I used F22 to get the starburst on the sun. EOS5D Mk III ~ Canon 16-35 ~ 1/80 &1/10 blended ~ F22 ~ ISO 100

I plan to shoot Empire Marina a lot more in the coming months…
