Deerubbin Reserve – a Mangrove Sunset
I took a recent sojourn to Deerubbin on the mighty Hawkesbury at dusk. The river yielded some beautiful colours at sundown. I noticed these mangrove trees which were still well surrounded by the water despite quite a low tide.
I used a long-ish shutter speed to calm the image down, and I think the end result is very relaxing indeed. An example of when sometimes less is more, in terms of what you include in an image.
I just love Deerubbin. So close to Brooklyn but the Hawkesbury outlook is so different.
