Berowra Waters Panorama
A classic shot in many ways. The actual location is not well known, nor easy to get to, but once you are there, it is possibly the best view you can get of Berowra Waters and Berowra Waters Ferry. I had scouted the area a couple of times, and could see the rock ledge I needed to get to. Getting to that rock ledge involved a fair bit of bush bashing through some very sharp bushes. I was pulling thorns out of my legs as I was walking, and had blood down my shins. I hit my shin so hard on one hidden log I still have the scar. But wait! It was all worth it. I grabbed many panoramas and Photoshop has worked its magic since that day.
This Berowra Waters Panorama is one of the largest images I have ever taken, in terms of pixels, and will fill walls on your home. Well, not quite but nearly. It’s a six shot vertical stitch and at native resolution that means a 60 inch wide print. This is an even wider take of this view, to include trees at either side to classically frame the image.
