A Great Walk North II (Berowra Great North Walk)
The section of is a not widely known jewel in Sydney’s crown. It runs from Sydney to Newcastle and passes through a lot of the Hornsby Shire. A steep climb that starts near the Berowra Waters Ferry leads to a great outlook over Berowra Waters Marina. [Walk on the east bank along the shore of Berowra Waters, heading north from Berowra Water Ferry, and A Chefs Secrets. Head past the car park and keep going until the path is very obvious at the water’s edge.]
This was taken one very hot summer’s day, when maybe I should have gone to the beach instead(!). However, the patterns of the clouds nicely reflect the shapes of the rock, and the shot was worth the effort. Easy to say that a few weeks later typing in front of a monitor in air-conditioned luxury 🙂 From a landscape photography point of view, you don’t see clouds like that too often.
This image screams (well, peacefully) Berowra Great North Walk to me
