Description
Barnett Red Fire
Barnett’s lookout is the jewel in the crown of Berowra National Park or even regional Park. And that is whether it has an apostrophe or not! Overall, it’s the most recognisable outlook on Sydney‘s Upper North Shore
For those that know and understand light will realise that optimally placed sunsets should lineup with looking down the water.
For Barnetts lookout, that is high summer – that’s from mid December to mid January.
Those that know even more about light will understand that those are not the months where we have high clouds. Such cloud formations give in general the best colour at Sunset. So I was really pleased to get this image with such a lovely colour. Over all the years I’ve been taking photos at Barnett’s lookout, I have achieved really good colour on only a handful occasions
