Wideview Wonder
Lazy Sunday afternoons. As a Landscape Photographer, you tend to have one eye out the window most of the time. We had friends round (first time in ages I have to say) and my lovely wife had excelled in the kitchen as she always does. And we sat and ate and chatted and had a most wonderfully wonderful relaxed afternoon. And there was a shelf of cloud outside the window. But all good things come to an end and our friends departed.
Now. I could have sat there. It would have sooo easy. But, Cloud Shelf called. And off I went. Not too far, and what I expected to happen did indeed happen. But! I didn’t quite expect it to happen so well, and for sooo long. Because of that, I was able to take a panorama. Two in fact, and as such this is possible the biggest image I have ever taken. A great example of an Australian landscape panorama. It just blew me away – the skies went on forever and there was I, deep in it all. Just Wonderful.
I am sooo looking forward to autumn – ‘the sunset season’ again.
