Doing Landscape Photography, I often have pre-conceived ideas. I doubt I am alone in that among landscape photographers everywhere. This evening I had great ideas of getting a different shot – the classic ridge sunset. So I walked the Turner Fire Trail north of Berowra Heights. While I waited for the sun to set, I went for a little diversion walk whilst the sun was still in the sky.

Sometimes the very best things are Just There. I kinda knew the lane would look good in that instant before sunset, where the light is at it warmest. It didn’t disappoint.

And then – I wonder just where that path will take you, if you took the time to walk it?
