The V Tree, Berowra, NSW

The wonders of Berowra are upon us again. For the next couple of months not only do we get misty valleys, we get high clouds as well. This was from Thursday night.

I had an image in mind for a couple of years using this tree. It had never quite happened for one reason or another. Lovely V-shape, and the details in the rocks where it grows is another highlight.

However – because I am not yet back in ‘the groove’ I arrived too late (refer previous backstory #25, # 47, #101, #1403-1407, you get the idea) I missed the sun setting behind the albeit high line of cloud.

It wasn’t the longest sunset colour-wise, but, hey, 99% of the time I only post one image. And it was sooo good to get out and feed the mossies!
