Bush Sunset – Stairway Down to Sunset

So this is an example of kind of knowing a place well, but at the same time, kind of not. And of course its at Berowra Heights overlooking Berowra Valley National Park. I had taken several shots within 10 metres of this but always much closer to the edge. In this instance I stayed higher up the natural staircase and set up the tripod. I was rewarded with a lot of things! A beautiful natural frame with the trees, a backlit grass tree, and of course and natural staircase leading down into the sunset. Sometimes, you just never know what you will see.
