Description
Solstice Morn. I awoke early in the pitch black. The house swirled in thick mist on the Winter Solstice Morning. A quick breakfast and I could grab a half-hour shoot before the daily commute.
I approached the Edge of the Abyss, and found myself standing in some of the thickest fog I have seen in Berowra in a long time. Some photos were just non-useable as there was a whiteout. As the light levels rose, some of the mist started to clear, and eventually the sun rose, orange-clad, into view.
I took several frames, and these two were the standouts. Never have I taken images quite like these in all the time I have lived in Berowra.
