Bush Sunset – ‘Roman Candle Sunset’, Berowra

So this is an image taken on my ‘Friday Night Meeting’ shoot a few weeks back. I had taken many images earlier whilst attending a Teams meeting with my office workmates. This with me sitting on the ledge, earphones in, phone in pocket, somewhat more concentrating on the sunset than the meeting. I’m a bloke, I can’t always multi-task, you know.
And then this happened. A real vertical line of cloud, coloured with all the colours of sunset you could imagine. It reminded me of the roman candle fireworks when I was younger, where coloured flame would shoot out vertically, then change colours, and then of course, it would be all over.
The shape here reminded me of that – dunno why, but it’s a nice memory.
