Early morning light frames the scene of Dangar Island in the Hawkesbury

I love this photo.

And do you know what? I passed over it on the first round of edits from the shoot. Us Landscape photographers can sometimes lose sight of the basics I think. And a classic is looking for ‘something shiny’ when you first review the detailed images of a shoot. But I re-visited the archive folder after a few weeks and thought: – peaceful, calm, dreamy, oh so Hawkesbury, quintessential Brooklyn.

The blues are so blue, the leaves frame the image and there are the leading lines to Dangar from the communications pipes.
