Description
Naa Badu is one of those places where time seems to stand still. I have done the walk along the misty tracks many times in the early autumn mornings. Always to try to catch what I might call the ‘Hero’ shot of the morning mist. So this is a problematical situation. Too much mist – lovely to look at – and you can’t see the water. You could be anywhere. Too little mist – allowing one to see the water nicely – and one could ask why the shot was not taken on a misty morning? Sometimes you can’t win.
So I offer this shot as the best compromise from the season thus far. There’s a little mist, a little water, and a nice bank of mist. Foreground trees on the left give depth to that area. But what this shot doesn’t show, among all the supposed calm, is this particular photographer hopping from one leg to the other swatting away the mossies, after he left the repellent in the car (!)
