The stars have been out this week and so have I. I have to say that astro photography is the most difficult genre I have tried. Well, apart from weddings, that is. The milky way, as I have found, changes position a lot from month to month, so what worked as a shot last month when there was no moon, does not work this month. So, back to Deerubbun Reserve (or The Ruins as the locals call it) went I, on Monday night, and this was the result. There is no right nor wrong way to Photoshop a Milky Way image, so please enjoy my interpretations.
