Description
I was out shooting a sunrise over the mist filled valleys, and as I always do, I wait for the light to change as the minutes pass. It is always quiet, apart from the birds, and a great time to sit and just ‘be’. I turned my gaze away from the mist in the valleys and looked around, and I saw the scene I have captured here – the long lanky trees almost looking as though they were walking on their lanky legs up the steep rock shelf in the foreground. The warmth of the morning sun makes the tree bark glow brightly and there is a sense of depth with the last of the mist moving up the valley ridge behind the trees.
