Cut, Forresters Beach
Another one from the Astro Season. A drive to Forresters Beach, after leaving with clear skies in Berowra, had me hopeful. I knew the moon would rise and align to the Milky Way being seen over the sea. And amazingly enough, it was at a reasonable hour! Despite the reasonable hour, though, the clouds were anything but reasonable, and kept obscuring the Galactic Core. I finally got lucky on one out of many shots as the core ‘cut’ through the many clouds moving in the wind.
A little later and the moon rose and that was that for the night as the brightness blew out details in the core.
