I was fortunate enough to be taken out this afternoon by some wonderful friends. It’s great to be taken out on a boat. But it’s even better to spend time with important people in our lives. As we cruised home in the winter sunshine, mist appeared in front of us hanging off the sides of the slopes, and off the water. The mist was truly amazing. However, none of us could work out why it had formed, apart from cold water and a warm afternoon.

I broke all the rules and shot into the sun, and in this instance the shot worked. Also, the horizon is almost horizontal, as well – always a challenge on a boat.
